VACATION DAYS definition

VACATION DAYS. The Superintendent shall be entitled to 30 working days of paid vacation, exclusive of Board recognized holidays, during each year of this Agreement. Such vacation period shall be with pay and shall be selected by the Superintendent during periods of time least disruptive to the operation of the District. The Superintendent shall take at least ten (10) days vacation per year and shall be entitled to carry a maximum of not more than ten (10) days to the next year with Board approval (maximum of40 vacation days in any given year). Any other vacation days not used will be forfeited. HOLIDAYS: Holidays shall be allowed as granted to other twelve (12) month employees.
VACATION DAYS. As an executive officer of the Company, you will be eligible for four (4) weeks of paid vacation subject to the Company’s vacation policy, including any accrual caps. Any vacation will be taken at the reasonable and mutual convenience of you and the Company. In addition, you will be entitled to sick leave and personal leave in accordance with the Company’s standard policies and procedures as may be amended, modified, or terminated by the Company from time to time, with or without notice, in accordance with the applicable policy and procedure documents. Indemnification: As an executive officer of the Company, you will be entitled indemnification by the Company in accordance with Article XIII of the Company’s Amended and Restated Bylaws and as provided by applicable law.
VACATION DAYS. An employee departing service shall be paid an amount equal to the employee's accrual rate for vacation accrued in accordance with the current Town of Littleton Bylaw. An employee shall repay the Town at a rate equal to his accrual rate for unearned vacation used during the fiscal year. This shall be paid through a deduction made to the employee’s final payroll check.

VACATION DAYS. The employee shall receive twenty (25) vacation days per year (5 days will be unpaid if unused). Any unused vacation days will be paid to the employee in the second pay of June annually at the rate of $400.00 per day (Maximum of $8000.00).   • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first (1st) day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the thirty-first (31st) day of March of the following calendar year.

  • Accrued Day(s) Off means the paid day(s) off accruing to an employee resulting from an entitlement to the 38 hour week as prescribed in Clause 6. - Hours of this award.

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • Termination Day means: (a) each day on which the conditions set forth in Section 2 of Exhibit II to this Agreement are not satisfied or (b) each day that occurs on or after the Facility Termination Date.

  • Unused means the Insured’s financial Loss of any whole, partial or prorated prepaid nonrefundable components of a Trip that are not depleted or exhausted, including award travel expenses.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator.   • Calendar means discrete temporal reference system that provides the basis for defining temporal position to a resolution of one day;

  • Benefit year means the period of twelve consecutive months, July 1 through June 30, as established by an employer in which an employee shall accrue and use earned sick leave as provided pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11D-2, provided that once the starting date of the benefit year is established by the employer it shall not be changed unless the employer notifies the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development of the change in accordance with regulations promulgated pursuant to the Act. The Commissioner shall impose a benefit year on any employer the Commissioner determines is changing the benefit year at times or in ways that prevent the accrual or use of earned sick leave by an employee.

  • Day/Days means calendar days, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

  • Holidays shall be deemed to mean and include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

  • Paid leave means time away from work by an employee for which the employee receives compensation, and is limited to sick time, vacation time, compensatory time and leave that is provided as an aggregate amount for use at the discretion of the employee for any of these same purposes.   • Peak Period means the time between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. (April through September) or between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. (October through March) on all days except Saturdays and Sundays, which daily time period will be subject to change from time to time at the Company's option. This change would occur after no less than ten (10) days notice has been given to all Customers who would be affected, and to the Commission.

  • Month means calendar month.
