Travel Companion definition

Travel Companion means an individual, other than an Immediate Family Member, who accompanied the Covered Person on the trip where the emergency occurred.
Travel Companion means a person traveling with the Insured who shares the Insured’s accommodations.

  • Quarantine or Hijacking – You, Your Spouse, Your Dependent Child, Your Travel Companion, or Your Travel Companion’s Spouse or Dependent Child is quarantined or hijacked.

  • Any expenses for a service not approved and arranged by the Appointed Assistance Company, provided always that We reserve the right to waive this exclusion in the event that You or Your Travel Companion cannot for reasons beyond Your control notify the Appointed Assistance Company during an emergency medical situation.

  • Unforeseen, unexpected and sudden death, illness or injury of You, Your Travel Companion, Your Immediate Family, Business Associate or the person with whom You intended to stay with abroad.

  • Travel Companion must also have in-force Pandemic coverage through Goose Insurance Services.

  • Cost of transporting qualified and licensed medical professional(s) or an Immediate Family Member or a Travel Companion if medically required to escort the Covered Person during transportation covered under this provision.


More Definitions of Travel Companion

Travel Companion means a person whom, before the journey began arranged to accompany you for at least 50% of the time of your journey.
Travel Companion means a person with whom You travel or plan to travel with for the period of the Trip and without whom You cannot make or continue Your Trip. This excludes a tour leader or group leader who is receiving remuneration in monetary form or in kind.
