Specified Item definition

Specified Item means each item of property that is specifically described on the Schedule. Any item worth more than $2,500 must be specified.
Specified Item means, in relation to baggage cover, an item the value of which is specified on your certificate.
Specified Item means the ashes of the deceased person, together with all “related items” (if applicable).

  • The District shall have sole discretion in deciding as to whether a proposed request for Substitution is equal to or better than a Specified Item.

  • In the event that bidder has agreed in the Request Form to provide the Specified Item and the District denies bidder’s requested substitution for a Specified Item, bidder shall execute the Agreement and provide the Specified Item without any additional cost or charge to the District, and if bidder fails to execute the Agreement with the Specified Item(s), bidder’s bid bond will be forfeited.

More Definitions of Specified Item

Specified Item means each of the matters set out in Schedule 2 (Specified Items), to the extent approval of any such matter requires approval by way of a special resolution pursuant to Applicable Laws;

  • Specified Investments means (a) direct obligations of the United States of America or obligations fully guaranteed by the United States of America; (b) commercial paper rated A-1/P-1 by S&P and Moody's, respectively or, if such ratings are unavailable, rated by any nationally recognized rating organization in the United States equal to the highest rating assigned by such rating organization; (c) investments in negotiable certificates of deposit, time deposits, banker's acceptances, commercial paper or other direct obligations of, or obligations guaranteed by, commercial banks organized under the laws of the United States or of any political subdivision thereof (or any U.S. branch of a foreign bank) with issuer ratings of at least B/C by Thomson Bankwatch, having maturities no later than 90 days following the date of such investment; (d) overnight federal funds transactions with members of the Federal Reserve System arranged by federal funds brokers; or (e) overnight repurchase agreements with respect to the securities described in clause (a) above entered into with an office of a bank or trust company which is located in the United States of America or any bank or trust company which is organized under the laws of the United States or any state thereof and has capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating at least $500 million.   • Specified Information means information in a children's protective services case record related specifically to the department's actions in responding to a complaint of child abuse or child neglect. Specified information does not include any of the following:

  • Indemnified Items shall have the meaning assigned to such terms in Section 2(b).

  • Specified Amount of a Component Currency shall mean the number of units of such Component Currency or fractions thereof which were represented in the relevant currency unit on the Conversion Date. If, after the Conversion Date of the relevant currency unit, a Conversion Event (other than any event referred to above in this definition of “Specified Amount”) occurs with respect to any Component Currency of such currency unit and is continuing on the applicable Valuation Date, the Specified Amount of such Component Currency shall, for purposes of calculating the Dollar Equivalent of the Currency Unit, be converted into Dollars at the Market Exchange Rate in effect on the Conversion Date of such Component Currency.

  • Specified Indebtedness means, subject to the Schedule, any obligation (whether present or future, contingent or otherwise, as principal or surety or otherwise) in respect of borrowed money.

  • Specified Property means property for which an election has been made for a special elective benefit.
