Separate Contractors definition

Separate Contractors means other contractors retained by the Owner under separate agreements. The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project with the Owner’s own forces, and with Separate Contractors retained under Conditions of the Contract substantially similar to those of this Contract, including those provisions of the Conditions of the Contract related to insurance and waiver of subrogation.

Separate Contractors means persons other than the Contractor including the Principal's employees who are engaged by the Principal to carry out work on the Site not included in the Contract concurrently with the carrying out of the Works.

Separate Contractors means those individuals or entities (including, but not limited to, concessionaires) who have entered into arrangements with the Owner for the provision of labor, materials or other services in connection with the Project.

Examples of Separate Contractors in a sentence

• The Design-Builder shall participate with other Separate Contractors and the Owner in reviewing their construction schedules when directed to do so.

• The Project is the total and complete design and construction of the CCMVCD Construction of New Administration, Maintenance Building and Sitework of which the Work is performed in accordance with the Contract Documents which may be the whole or a part and which may include construction by the Owner or by Separate Contractors.

• The Design-Builder shall afford the Owner and Separate Contractors reasonable opportunity for storage of their materials and equipment and performance of their activities, and shall connect and coordinate the Design-Builder’s construction and operations with theirs as required by the Contract Documents.

• The Design-Builder shall bear the cost within the Contract Sum of correcting destroyed or damaged construction, whether completed or partially completed, of the Owner or Separate Contractors caused by the Design-Builder’s correction or removal of Work which is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

• Design-Builder and Owner will take all steps necessary in connection with the construction Work not to interfere with the use and occupancy of the Project Site by Owner’s Separate Contractors and personnel to minimize any interruption of services to such persons, including, without limitation, utilities, ingress and egress, and parking.

More Definitions of Separate Contractors

Separate Contractors includes subconsultants, contractors and vendors procured directly by the Owner to perform work or services on the Project.

Separate Contractors means any contractor or other service provider engaged directly by the Owner (other than Design-Build Firm) to perform construction or other services relating to the Project or the operation or maintenance of Owner s’ property.

Separate Contractors means the Multi Hearth Furnace Supplier, the Transmission Owner and any other subcontractors or vendors that will perform work for or on behalf of Owner in order to satisfy Owner’s obligations under this Agreement.

Separate Contractors means any contractor(s) engaged directly by the Owner (other than Construction Manager) to perform construction or other services on the Worksite relating to the Project or the operation or maintenance of Owner’s property.

Separate Contractors means and refers to any contractor, other than the DB Contractor or its Subcontractors, retained by any of the State Parties to provide logistics, planning, pricing, auditing, design, investigation, site work, construction, installation, testing, or commissioning services in connection with other portions of the Project or operations on the Site under a contract separate and apart from this Contract. Separate Contractors known or anticipated as of the Effective Date are identified in Subsection 11.1.1 (Construction by the Authority or ADOC or by Separate Contractors).
