Sanctions Authorities definition

Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;
Sanctions Authorities as defined in the definition of “Sanctions.”
Sanctions Authorities means all of the foregoing Sanctions Authorities, collectively.

Examples of Sanctions Authorities in a sentence

  • Parent and its subsidiaries have instituted, maintain and enforce, and will continue to maintain and enforce, policies and procedures designed to promote and ensure, and which are reasonably expected to ensure, compliance with all of the relevant regulations adopted by the Sanctions Authorities.

  • The sanctions laws, regulations, embargoes or restrictive measures administered, enacted or enforced by any of the Sanctions Authorities.

  • None of the Purchaser, any of its subsidiaries, any director or officer, or any employee, agent, or affiliate is a Person that is, or is owned or controlled by Persons that are, (i) the subject of any sanctions administered or enforced by the Sanctions Authorities or (ii) located, organized or in a country or territory that is, or whose government is, the target of Sanctions, including, without limitation, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.

  • No proceeds of any Advances made, or Letter of Credit issued, hereunder will be used, directly or indirectly, (i) to fund any operations in, finance any investments or activities in, or make any payments to, a Sanctioned Person or a Sanctioned Entity or (ii) in any manner that would result in the violation of any sanctions instituted by Sanctions Authorities applicable to any Loan Party.

Sanctions Authorities has the meaning given to it in the definition of Sanctioned Person;

Sanctions Authorities means (a) the United States; (b) the United Nations (acting through the United Nations Security Council as a whole and not each individual member or member state); (c) the European Union (as a whole and not each member state); (d) the United Kingdom; (e) Canada; or (f) the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the foregoing, including OFAC, the United States Department of State, and HMT.
