Remediation Systems definition

Remediation Systems shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.5.
Remediation Systems are any and all structures, machinery, equipment, walls, wells, piping, motors, covers, vaults, filters, extraction devices, biological mechanisms, and other non-naturally occurring devices, and organisms now or hereafter existing, installed or otherwise used on or about the Premises for the remediation, removal, investigation, monitoring, or other response to the Pre-Existing Environmental Condition, including without limitation any and all electrical, water, gas, and other utility services required for the operation of any of the foregoing.
Remediation Systems means the chromium- and perchlorate- related ground water intercept and treatment systems and equipment, utility lines servicing only such intercept systems and equipment, and any other ongoing environmental contamination investigation, treatment or remediation systems or equipment.

Remediation Systems means that or those certain machinery, equipment and fixtures used in connection with the Environmental Action, including without limitation, treatment sheds, monitoring wells, monitoring devices, vapor extraction systems, pump and treat systems, air sparge and compressor systems, bioremediation systems, oil and water separators and associated personal property and fixtures.

  • Transportation System means the facilities at any time in place to receive Shipper’s Gas at the Entry Point(s), process, handle, transport and redeliver the Gas at the Exit Point(s), in accordance with the Transportation Agreement, as detailed in Transportation System Description.

  • Remediation waste management site means a facility where an owner or operator is or will be treating, storing or disposing of hazardous remediation wastes. A remediation waste management site is not a facility that is subject to corrective action under § 264.101 of this regulation, but is subject to corrective action requirements if the site is located in such a facility.

  • Leak-detection system means a system capable of detecting the failure of either the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste or accumulated liquid in the secondary containment structure. Such a system must employ operational controls (e.g., daily visual inspections for releases into the secondary containment system of aboveground tanks) or consist of an interstitial monitoring device designed to detect continuously and automatically the failure of the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste into the secondary containment structure.

  • Irrigation System means such major, medium and minor irrigation system for harnessing water for irrigation and other allied uses from Government source and includes reservoirs, open head channels, diversion systems, lift irrigation schemes, anicuts, tanks, wells and the like.

  • Reservation System means the Contributor's Reservation Terminal and Reservation System equipment and software, if any.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws means the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, each as amended, together with all other laws (including rules, regulations, codes, plans, injunctions, judgments, orders, decrees, rulings, and charges thereunder) of federal, state, local, and foreign governments (and all agencies thereof) concerning pollution or protection of the environment, public health and safety, or employee health and safety, including laws relating to emissions, discharges, releases, or threatened releases of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes into ambient air, surface water, ground water, or lands or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport, or handling of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes.

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Environmental Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 1, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;

  • Collection System means software used for the collection, tracking, and reporting of 34 outcomes data for Clients enrolled in the FSP programs.

  • Project Water means water made available for delivery to the contractors by project conservation facilities and the transportation facilities included in the System.

  • Transportation Services means travel assistance given to an individual

  • Transportation network company means a company or organization facilitating and/or providing transportation services using a computer or digital application or platform to connect or match passengers with drivers for compensation or a fee.
