Reduced to Writing means a concise statement outlining the nature of the grievance, the provision(s) of the contract in dispute, and the relief requested. The District has a grievance form for this purpose (see Exhibit D), copies of which are available in the office of each building principal. The grievance form must be signed by the grieving teacher (or one of a group of grieving teachers) and by a duly authorized representative of the Association (even if the teacher does not wish to be represented by the Association). All subsequent processing of the grievance should ordinarily use the original grievance form.
