PM Early Warning System definition

PM Early Warning System means a probe electrification-type technology (i.e., a system in which a probe is inserted into the emissions stream and measures the momentum of the PM flowing through the duct), or a monitoring system designed to achieve an equivalent level of performance to a probe electrification-type technology that has been approved in advance of use by EPA, that provides early warning detection of excess PM emissions from carbon black production operations by producing a signal that is transmitted to an alarm management system and converted into a numeric readout, over an averaging period of no longer than 15 minutes, as described in Appendix D to this Consent Decree.

Examples of PM Early Warning System in a sentence

  • If the visible emissions event occurs after the date of Continuous Operation of the PM Early Warning System in accordance with Paragraph 36 of this Consent Decree, the event shall be considered resolved once the PM Early Warning System alarm is below the Action Level.

  • After May 1, 2016, if an alarm (50% of scale) is triggered for any PM Early Warning System, the requirements in the Consent Decree – Appendix D shall be followed.

  • No later than the dates set forth in the table below, Defendant shall install, and continuing thereafter, Defendant shall Continuously Operate, a PM Early Warning System in accordance with the protocol specified in Appendix D: IX.

Related to PM Early Warning System

  • Net metering system means a facility for the production of electrical energy that does all of the following:

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that can measure energy consumption, providing more information than a conventional meter, and can transmit and receive data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • Plumbing system means water supply distribution and disposal piping on the premises, including appliances and equipment attached thereto, between their connection points to a public or private system.

  • Service Level means the standard set forth below by which IBM measures the level of service it provides in this SLA.

  • Metering System means all meters and metering devices (including current transformers and potential transformers) installed by the Company and uses to measure Electricity and delivery by the Company and receipt by the BPDB of Net Energy Output. The Metering System shall be owned and maintained by the Company.

  • Trading System means the Company’s electronic trade execution system that is used for the trading of Swaps, including the associated hardware, software, systems and communications links.

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Service Levels means the service levels to be met by the Services as referenced in the Contract Letter and set out in the Specification Schedule.

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7) means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • Performance Monitoring System has the meaning given to it in paragraph 1.1.2 in Part B of Schedule 6 (Service Levels, Service Credits and Performance Monitoring);

  • Service Level Standards has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.1 hereof.

  • Service Switching Point (SSP) is a telephone central office switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7 means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • Monitoring System means a system established by BNY to fulfill the Responsibilities specified in clauses (d) and (e) of Section 1 of Article III of this Agreement.

  • Fraud Monitoring System means an off-line administration system that monitors suspected occurrences of ABT- related fraud.

  • Lowest Achievable Emission Rate (LAER means, for any source, the more stringent rate of emissions based on the following:

  • Nominal Rated Capability means the nominal maximum rated capability in megawatts of a Transmission Interconnection Customer’s Customer Facility or the nominal increase in transmission capability in megawatts of the Transmission System resulting from the interconnection or addition of a Transmission Interconnection Customer’s Customer Facility, as determined in accordance with pertinent Applicable Standards and specified in the Interconnection Service Agreement.

  • Lowest achievable emission rate or “LAER” means, for any source, the more stringent rate of emissions based on the following:

  • Operating System refers to the software that manages Hardware for Programs and other software.

  • Continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS means all of the equipment that may be required to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of this section, to sample, condition (if applicable), analyze, and provide a record of emissions on a continuous basis.

  • Standard Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Standard Software.

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system or "CPMS" means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of this article, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Affected System means an electric system other than the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System that may be affected by a proposed interconnection or on which a proposed interconnection or addition of facilities or upgrades may require modifications or upgrades to the Transmission System.   • Service Switching Point (SSP means the telephone Central Office Switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Carrier Access Billing System (“CABS”) is the system which is defined in a document prepared under the direction of the Billing Committee of the OBF. The CABS document is published by Telcordia in Volumes 1, 1A, 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 5 as Special Reports SR-OPT-001868, SR-OPT-0011869, SR-OPT-001871, SR-OPT- 001872, SR-OPT-001873, SR-OPT-001874, and SR-OPT-001875, respectively, and contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of access and other connectivity services. Sprint’s carrier access billing system is its Carrier Access Support System (CASS). CASS mirrors the requirements of CABS.
