own funds definition

own funds means the sum of Tier 1 capital and Tier 2 capital;
own funds means own funds as defined in point (118) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013;
own funds means funds as defined in point 118 of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 where at least 75% of the Tier 1 capital is in the form of Common Equity Tier 1 capital as referred to in Article 50 of that Regulation and Tier 2 is equal to or less than one third of Tier 1 capital;

More Definitions of own funds

own funds means own funds as referred to in Title V, Chapter 2, Section 1 of Directive 2006/48/EC;
own funds means the amount of shareholders’ and other funds which qualify as actual own funds (toetsingsvermogen) under the Solvency Rules.
own funds means either of the following:
own funds means own funds within the meaning of Chapter 2 of Title V of Directive 2006/48/EC;
own funds means own funds as referred to in Articles 56 to 67 of Directive 2006/48/EC;
own funds means (1) cash, corporate capital, or warehouse credit lines at commercial banks, savings banks, savings and loan associations, industrial loan companies, or other sources that are liability items on a lender’s financial statements, whether secured or unsecured, or (2) a lender’s affiliate’s cash, corporate capital, or warehouse credit lines at commercial banks or other sources that are liability items on the affiliate’s financial statements, whether secured or unsecured. “Own funds” does not include funds provided by a third party to fund a loan on condition that the third party will subsequently purchase or accept an assignment of that loan.
