Outdoor dining definition

Outdoor dining means an area set up outside the confines of the commercial structure with tables, chairs, and other furnishings for the purpose of selling, offering for sale, and serving food and beverages by an adjoining restaurant in which the same food and beverages are offered for sale, sold, and served.
Outdoor dining means any outdoor arrangement of tables, chairs, benches, stools, or other furnishings primarily intended for use while eating and drinking by the customers of the restaurant with which the furnishings are associated. Furnishings shall also include patio umbrellas, portable heaters, table lighting, potted plants, portable signs, etc. Furnishings located upon private property or within a public right-of-way and furnishings temporarily placed or permanently affixed are included.
Outdoor dining means a seasonal use, ancillary and contiguous to an approved eating establishment (restaurant, or retail food establishment), operating on a seasonal (seven month) basis starting on April 1st and concluding on November 1st in any calendar year and subject to the standards and conditions of Section 6-100 Use Group 1.
