Open Access definition

Open Access means the non-discriminatory provision for the use of transmission lines or distribution system or associated facilities with such lines or system by any licensee or consumer or a person engaged in generation in accordance with the regulations specified by the Appropriate Commission;
Open Access means content which is distributed in digital format to the end- user without charge. Open Access may confer certain rights in the content to the end-user, including the ability to re-distribute it or to create derivative works from it.
Open Access means the practice of providing online access to research outputs resulting from actions funded under the Programme, free of charge to the end-user, in accordance with Article 10 and 35(3) of this Regulation;

Examples of Open Access in a sentence

  • In accordance with the Centre’s Open Access Policy available at the following link (xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xx/en/open-access-policy-idrc-funded-project-outputs), all Project Outputs must be made available to the public on an Open Access basis.

  • For the purposes of this Section and this Agreement generally, Commercial Operations shall be defined herein as the date that Medway Grid achieves Forward Capacity Market (“FCM”) participation status as defined by ISO-NE’s Open Access Transmission Tariff.

More Definitions of Open Access

Open Access shall have the same meaning as provided in the Electricity Xxx 0000 as amended from time to time;
