Non-Political Event definition

Non-Political Event shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 21.2;

Non-Political Event means the Force Majeure Events set out in Article 14.2.

Non-Political Event shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Article 15.2.

Examples of Non-Political Event in a sentence

• Indirect Political Event: An Indirect Political Event shall mean one or more of the following acts or events: (a) an act of war (whether declared or undeclared), invasion, armed conflict or act of foreign enemy, blockade, embargo, riot, insurrection, terrorist or military action, civil commotion or politically motivated sabotage; (b) any Indirect Political Event that causes a Non-Political Event; or (c) any event or circumstances of a nature analogous to any of the fore going.

• Upon occurrence of a Non-Political Event, the parties shall bear their respective Force Majeure costs and neither party shall be required to pay to the other party any costs thereof.

• If Termination is on account of a Non-Political Event, the Authority shall make a Termination Payment to the Concessionaire in an amount equal to 90% (ninety per cent) of the Debt Due less Insurance Cover.

• Upon occurrence of a Force Majeure Event after the Effective Date, the costs incurred and attributable to such event and directly relating to the Project (‘Force Majeure Costs’) shall be allocated and paid as follows:  Upon occurrence of a Non-Political Event, the Parties shall bear their respective Force Majeure Costs and neither Party shall be required to pay to the other Party any costs thereof.

• If Termination is on account of a Non-Political Event, the Authority shall not be liable to make any Termination Payment to the Service Provider.

Non-Political Event has the meaning given in Article 14.1.1(b). "Notice of Intent to Terminate" has the meaning given in Article 16.1.2.

Non-Political Event shall include, but not limited to, the following events to the extent that an event or its consequence (it being agreed that if a causing event is within the reasonable control of a Party affected, the consequence thereof shall be deemed to be within the control of the Party affected) satisfy the first paragraph of this Cause 49.1;

Non-Political Event means the Force Majeure Events set out in GC Section 8.7.
