Managed Devices definition

Managed Devices means any network device being managed by a Software or Other Offering that is virtual or physical, such as a desktop PC, router, or switch that is not a server OS or functioning as a server of Customer and/or Clients.
Managed Devices refers to HP branded Devices specifically designed with smart technology for the MPS IPE to help optimize Printing Supplies usage.
Managed Devices means the number of individual devices that can be discovered and managed by use of the System. Individual devices are physical network addressable devices and individually managed Component Devices and ScienceLogic Virtual Devices for which the System collects Performance Data, including but not limited to personal computers, workstations, servers, routers, hubs, virtual servers, switches, blades, chassis, storage devices, LUNs, Volumes, load balancers and firewalls. For clarification purposes, each virtual server is considered a separate "Managed Device".

Examples of Managed Devices in a sentence

  • Customer will provide at least two additional Managed Devices with the Encryption feature to act as key servers.

  • With Managed VoIP Services, Verizon will manage VoIP CPE Elements (not VoIP Service devices such as phones) at the same management level as the related Managed Devices.

  • Verizon provides physical fault detection, isolation, and monitoring services for Managed Devices, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

  • For select Managed Devices, Verizon will configure and manage the connection from the Managed Device to an external cloud-based security service.

  • For Managed WAN Physical, Customer also will provide Verizon read access to the Managed Device configuration, and will maintain any software licenses associated with Managed Devices.

  • The VEC provides a consolidated view of Customer Network information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and real time access to project status, contact information, and information about Managed Devices.


More Definitions of Managed Devices

Managed Devices means devices capable of delivering program content to Subscribers and which are, directly or indirectly, provided by Customer to Subscribers. “Stationary Devices” means internet enabled TVs, game platforms and other media players and consumer electronics devices, including dongles such as Chromecast, which are (A) capable of delivering streaming video, (B) typically maintained in a fixed location, (C) capable of running the “Client” portions of the Xxxxxxx Software, and (D) not Managed Devices. “Mobile Devices” means personal computers (whether desktop or laptop), tablets, mobile phones and similar devices, that are (A) other than desktop computers, not typically maintained in a fixed location, (B) capable of running the “Client” portions of the Xxxxxxx Software, and (C) not Managed Devices. “Subscriber” means, in the case of a residential subscriber, an independent living unit, and, in the case of a commercial subscriber, a commercial establishment. In the case of an apartment building, condominium complex, or similar structure or complex, each residence in such structure or complex is a separate Subscriber. In any event, each of Servicer Provider’s subscriber accounts is deemed to constitute at least one Subscriber.
Managed Devices means the devices identified in Exhibit B of the XPS Services Contract.
Managed Devices means the device or devices for which the Stand-Alone Software and/or Hardware Product was purchased to manage a System.
Managed Devices means a Device(s) that is managed by Accenture pursuant to the Advanced Managed IDS/IPS Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System Service.

Related to Managed Devices

  • Assistive device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system which is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of an individual with a disability in the workplace or on the job. “Assistive device” does not mean any medical device, surgical device, or organ implanted or transplanted into or attached directly to an individual. “Assistive device” does not include any device for which a certificate of title is issued by the state department of transportation, but does include any item, piece of equipment, or product system otherwise meeting the definition of “assistive device” that is incorporated, attached, or included as a modification in or to such a device issued a certificate of title.

  • Customer-generator means a user of a net metering system.
