Managed Account definition

Managed Account means an account of a client for which a person or company makes the investment decisions if that person or company has discretion to trade in securities for the account without requiring the client’s express consent to a transaction;
Managed Account means an account where an Access Person has no:
Managed Account means an account where a Covered Person has no knowledge of the transaction before it is completed (for example, transactions effected for a Covered Person by a trustee of a blind trust, or discretionary trades made by an investment manager retained by the Covered Person, in connection with which the Covered Person is neither consulted nor advised of the trade before it is executed).

Examples of Managed Account in a sentence

  • If any short selling transaction occurs as part of the Managed Account Service, the Client will deliver the relevant Securities in good time to enable settlement of the transfer of those Securities.

  • The Client wishes to use the Managed Account Service for the management, administration and custody of the Client’s Investments.

  • Insofar as the Custodian suffers Loss as a result of crediting the Client’s Managed Account in respect of any instrument, advanced payment, wire transfer or remittance of funds that does not then clear, the Custodian may debit the Client’s Managed Account accordingly.
