Less than 4 Hours definition

Less than 4 Hours. An employee who is hired specifically to teach only two (2) to three (3) hours per day shall be considered a less than 4-hour employee. These employees shall be paid under Article XI., G., Salary Schedule No. 1D, and are not entitled to planning time, sick leave accrual, health insurance or other fringe benefits.

  • 24 hours means a period of 24 hours including all or part of a day upon which banks are open for business in both the place where the relevant meeting is to be held and in each of the places where the Paying Agents have their specified offices (disregarding for this purpose the day upon which such meeting is to be held) and such period shall be extended by one period or, to the extent necessary, more periods of 24 hours until there is included as aforesaid all or part of a day upon which banks are open for business in all of the places as aforesaid; and

  • Hours means clock hours.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Business Hours means the hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm on a Business Day.

  • Teaching days means days on which classes were engaged. Examination days are not to be included)

  • Regular Business Hours means 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except on Legal Holidays.

  • Business Days and Hours means Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time, except for holidays observed by the state of Washington.

  • Clock hours means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of a training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school–age care competencies.

  • Week means seven consecutive days.

  • 48 hours means 2 consecutive periods of 24 hours.

  • permitted hours means the periods specified for each parking place during which waiting by vehicles of a specific class is permitted as specified on the Plans;

  • Days means calendar days.

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • Normal Business Hours means 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST/EDT, on Business Days.

  • Man Hours means the hours spent by the Supplier Personnel properly working on the provision of the Goods and/or Services including time spent travelling (other than to and from the Supplier's offices, or to and from the Sites) but excluding lunch breaks;

  • Labor hours means the total hours of workers receiving an hourly wage who are directly employed on the site of a building improvement or public works project. "Labor hours" includes hours performed by workers employed by the general contractor and all subcontractors working on the project. "Labor hours" does not include hours worked by foremen, superintendents, project managers, project engineers, and owners.

  • Business Days means a day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or a day on which banks in New York City are authorized or required by law to close.

  • Business Hour means a clock hour during the standard business hours of a Business Day based on Customer’s “Support Region” and “Support Center” as set forth at www.liferay.com/support/coverage-areas-and-hours.
