Job Class definition

Job Class refers to a group of jobs specified in Schedule "A" whose common characteristic is a specific point range and corresponding standard pay range as set out in Schedule "A".
Job Class means all Jobs in the Company with the same basic title (e.g., all Service Clerk II’s constitute a Job Class; all Service Clerk III's constitute a separate Job Class.);
Job Class means those positions in an establishment that have similar duties and responsibilities and require similar qualifications, are filled by similar recruiting procedures and have the same compensation schedule, salary grade or range of salary rates; (“catégorie d’emplois”)
