Inventory of Hazardous Materials definition

Inventory of Hazardous Materials means an inventory certificate or statement of compliance (as applicable) issued by the relevant classification society or shipyard authority which is supplemented by a list of any and all materials known to be potentially hazardous utilised in the construction of, or otherwise installed on, the Ship, pursuant to the requirements of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation.
Inventory of Hazardous Materials or “IHM” – means a statement of compliance issued by the relevant Approved [Classification Society/Shipyard] which includes a list of any and all materials known to be potentially hazardous utilized in the construction of that Ship also referred to as List of Hazardous Materials.
Inventory of Hazardous Materials means an inventory certificate or statement of compliance (as applicable) issued by the relevant Approved Classification Society or shipyard authority which is supplemented by a list of any and all materials known to be potentially hazardous utilised in the construction of, otherwise installed on, that Ship, pursuant to the requirements of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation.

  • Part I of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials should be compiled on the basis of the standard format shown in the guidelines developed by the Organization.

More Definitions of Inventory of Hazardous Materials

Inventory of Hazardous Materials shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Resolution MEPC.269(68) of the International Maritime Organization;
Inventory of Hazardous Materials means, in relation to any Vessel, a statement of compliance issued by the relevant Approved Classification Society and which includes a list of any and all materials known to be potentially hazardous utilised in the construction of the Vessel.

Inventory of Hazardous Materials means, in relation to a Ship, a statement of compliance issued by a classification society being a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) which includes a list of any and all materials known to be potentially hazardous utilised in the construction of that Ship together with their respective location and approximate quantities as required by Article 5 (Inventory of Hazardous Materials) of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation (or any similar statement of compliance required under the Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships, 2009).
