Internet Traffic definition

Internet Traffic means any traffic that is transmitted to or returned from the Internet at any point during the duration of the transmission.
Internet Traffic means any CMRS traffic that is transmitted to or returned from the Internet at any point during the duration of the transmission.
Internet Traffic means Internet Traffic that is originated by an end user subscriber served on the network of one Party, is transmitted to the network of the other Party, and then is handed off by that Party to an Internet Service Provider served by that Party which has been assigned a telephone number or telephone numbers within an NXX or NXXs which are local to the originating end user subscriber.

Examples of Internet Traffic in a sentence

  • Dial-up, switched Internet Traffic originated by a Customer of one Party on that Party’s network at a point in a Verizon local calling area, and delivered to a Customer or an Internet Service Provider served by the other Party, on that other Party’s network at a point in the same Verizon local calling area.

  • Voice Information Service Traffic does not include any form of Internet Traffic.

  • Internet Traffic, intraLATA Toll Traffic, and IntraLATA toll free service access code traffic), such receiving Party shall bill the originating Party the rate applicable to each relevant minute of traffic for which CPN is received.

  • Calls originated on a 1+ presubscription basis, or on a casual dialed (10XXX/101XXXX) basis, are not considered Measured Internet Traffic.

  • For the avoidance of any doubt, Virtual Foreign Exchange Traffic (i.e., V/FX Traffic) (as defined in the Interconnection Attachment) does not constitute Measured Internet Traffic.


More Definitions of Internet Traffic

Internet Traffic means Internet traffic including w ithout limitation all w eb, VPN, electronic mail, file transfer, and other data that traverses through a public packet netw ork;
Internet Traffic means traffic that is transmitted to or returned from the Internet at any point during the duration of the transmission. Internet Traffic does not include Internet Telephony.
Internet Traffic means any traffic that is transmitted to or returned from the Internet at any point during the duration of the transmission. “Internet Service Provider (“ISP”)” is an entity that provides its customers the ability to obtain on-line information through the Internet.

Reciprocal compensation shall not apply to Internet Traffic. The Partiesrights and obligations with respect to any intercarrier compensation that may be due in connection with their exchange of Internet Traffic shall be governed by the terms of the Order and other applicable FCC orders and FCC regulations. The determination of whether traffic is Local Traffic or Internet Traffic shall be performed in accordance with Paragraphs 8 and 79, and other applicable provisions, of the Order (including, but not limited to, in accordance with the rebuttable presumption established by the Order that traffic delivered to a carrier that exceeds a 3:1 ratio of terminating to originating traffic is Internet Traffic, and in accordance with the process established by the Order for rebutting such presumption before the Commission). A Party shall not be obligated to pay any intercarrier compensation for Internet Traffic that is in excess of the intercarrier compensation for Internet Traffic that such Party is required to pay under the Order and other applicable FCC orders and FCC Regulations.
Internet Traffic or “ISP Bound Traffic” means ISP traffic that is originated by an End User of one Party, delivered to the other Party, and terminated by the other Party to an ISP within NEFCOM’s local serving area as defined by the effective local exchange tariff(s) of NEFCOM, including mandatory local calling scope arrangements established and defined by the Commission (“Local Internet Traffic”). A mandatory local calling scope arrangement is an arrangement that provides End Users a local calling scope beyond the End User’s basic exchange serving area. For purposes of this Agreement, Local Internet Traffic shall also included Extended Local Calling (“ELC”) service traffic to ISPs between the NEFCOM incumbent LEC exchanges and the Jacksonville, Baldwin and Maxville Rate Center Areas as operated by BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. Therefore Local Internet Traffic, for purposes of this Agreement, includes both intra-exchange calls and ELC calls originated by an End User of one Party, delivered to the other Party, and terminated by the other Party to an ISP.
Internet Traffic or “ISP Bound Traffic” means local IntraLATA Traffic originated by a Customer of one Party and delivered to the other Party for transport and termination to an ISP.
Internet Traffic means facsimile or other electronic message transmissions (i) originated by a FI customer, (ii) (a) using Control Data software or other technology installed on such customer's LAN where such transmission was originated to provide connectivity directly to the FI network or (b) where such customer originally subscribed to FI's service -- through the joint efforts of FI and Control Data (such Joint Effort to be evidenced by a sales lead sheet initialed by authorized representatives of each party or other mutually agreeable method) or (c) where Control Data has a contractual relationship with the customer under which Control Data is furnishing electronic commerce related products or services, (iii) transmitted to the FI network and from the FI network to a third party Internet service provider for re-transmission to destination.
