Institutional pharmacy definition

Institutional pharmacy means the physical portion of an institutional facility that is engaged in the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of drugs, devices, and other materials, hereinafter referred to as ‘drugs’, used in the diagnosis and treatment of injury, illness, and disease and which is permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
Institutional pharmacy means any pharmacy located within any hospital, sanitorium, clinic or dispensary in which drugs are compounded or dispensed to its patients or patients of another licensed in-patient health care facility with whom it has a contract.
Institutional pharmacy means a pharmacy that provides pharmacy services to an institutional facility. This definition is not for purposes under s. 450.09 (1) (a), Stats.
