Information Regulator means the statutory body that is responsible for the enforcement andimplementation of POPIA and which has been bestowed with extensive powers in terms of the Act, including the power to receive and investigate complaints, impose sanctions and publish guidelines and guidance documents in terms of POPIA compliance requirements;
