Independent Affiliate definition

Independent Affiliate means a cable operator who is or was availing the signals of the Zee Group Channels directly from ZEEL in terms of a separate agreement between ZEEL and such cable operator.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any Distributor of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the STAR Channels directly from STAR in terms of a separate agreement between STAR and the Independent Affiliate.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any Distributor of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the TVTN Channels directly from TVTN under a separate agreement between the Independent Affiliate and TVTN.

• Further it is also agreed by MSO that any other Independent Affiliate taken over by MSO during the term of this Agreement shall be treated as JVs and MSO shall be liable to make additional payment for such JVs acquired during the term of this Agreement.

• ZEEL has the right to withhold such consent in its sole discretion, till such time that the Independent Affiliate or the MSO does not clear all the outstanding amounts payable by the Independent Affiliate to ZEEL for such time the Independent Affiliate has been availing the signals of Zee Group Channels.

• ZEEL has the right to withhold such consent in its sole discretion, till such time that the Independent Affiliate or the HITS Operator does not clear all the outstanding amounts payable by the Independent Affiliate to ZEEL for such time the Independent Affiliate has been availing the signals of Zee Group Channels.

• Likewise, the parts signing this Independent Affiliate Agreement agree to take precautions aimed at preserving the confidential nature of the other part Confidential Information, as well as the precautions that they usually take to protect their own Confidential Information.

More Definitions of Independent Affiliate

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any DPO of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the Channels directly from TVTN in terms of a separate agreement between TVTN and the Independent Affiliate and shall include its LCOs and/or direct subscribers to whom STBs are issued by such Independent Affiliates;

Independent Affiliate means a cable operator who is or was availing the signals of the CMPL Group Channels directly from CMPL in terms of a separate agreement between CMPL and such cable operator. "Interconnection" means commercial and technical arrangements under which DPO and CMPL connect their equipment and networks to provide signals of CMPL Group Channels to the subscribers. “Interconnection Agreement” with all its grammatical variations and cognate expressions means agreements on interconnection providing technical and commercial terms and conditions for distribution of signals of CMPL Group Channel “Interconnection Regulation 2017” shall mean the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable System) Regulation, 2017 dated 3rdMarch, 2017 issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any DPO of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the Channels directly from Sidharth TV Network in terms of a separate agreement between Sidharth TV Network and the Independent Affiliate;
