Government establishment definition

Government establishment means a corporation established by or under a Central Act or State Act or an authority or a body owned or controlled or aided by the Government or a local authority or a Government company as defined in section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and includes a Department of the Government;
Government establishment means any office or department of the Government or a local authority;
Government establishment or “site” shall be deemed to include any of Her Majesty’s Ships or Vessels and Service Stations; and

  • The Contractor’s representatives, when employed within the boundaries of a Government Establishment, shall comply with such rules, regulations and requirements (including those relating to security arrangements) as may be in force.

  • Sleeping accommodation and messing facilities, if required, may be provided wherever possible by the Government Establishment, at the discretion of the Officer in Charge, at a cost fixed in accordance with current Authority regulations.

  • Injury, disease or dangerous occurrences involving the Contractor’s employees or agents or sub-contractor(s) at a Government Establishment or Accepted OPV, which ordinarily require to be reported in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 shall also be reported to the Officer in Charge.

  • The Contractor shall be responsible for the living accommodation and maintenance of his representatives while they are working at or attending a Government Establishment or on board an Accepted OPV.

  • Where GFA is issued to the Contractor and is not retained at Government Establishment, the requirements of DEFCON 611 shall apply.

  • Where the Contractor's Representatives are required by the Contract to join or visit a Government Establishment overseas, transport between the United Kingdom and the place of duty (but excluding transport within the United Kingdom) shall be provided free of charge by the Authority whenever possible, normally by Royal Air Force or by MOD chartered aircraft.

  • The Authority will issue passes for those representatives who are approved by it in accordance with Clause 1.98 for admission to the Government Establishment or to board the OPV(s) after Acceptance and a representative shall not be admitted unless in possession of such a pass.

Government establishment means any executive department, military department, government corporation, government-controlled corporation, government-owned contractor-operated facility, and other establishment in the executive branch of the government (including the Executive Office of the President), and any independent regulatory agency, as well as the Congress and all Legislative Branch agencies, offices and organizations, the Supreme Court, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, and all Judicial Branch courts, offices and organizations. It does not include the District of Columbia or the territories and possessions of the United States, and their various subdivisions.
Government establishment means all Government sites including Headquarters Buildings, Her Majesty’s Ships or Vessels, Service Stations or any other location which may be designated by the Authority from time to time; Government Furnished Assets means the Government Furnished Equipment, Government Furnished Facilities, Government Furnished Resources and/or Government Furnished Information detailed in Schedule 8, Part A (Government Furnished Assets), being items which shall be made available to the Contractor for the purposes of Asset Provision and/or Service Provision, and for no other purpose without the prior approval of the Authority, in accordance with the terms set out in Clause 38 (Government Furnished Assets);
