Environmental Incentives definition

Environmental Incentives means any and all credits, rebates, subsidies, payments or other incentives that relate to self–generation of electricity, the use of technology incorporated into the System, environmental benefits of using the System, or other similar programs available from the Utility, any other regulated entity, the manufacturer of any part of the System or any Governmental Authority.

Without limiting the forgoing, “Environmental Incentives” includes green tags, renewable energy credits, grants, tradable renewable certificates, portfolio energy credits, the right to apply for (and entitlement to receive) incentive programs offered by the State of California and the right to claim federal income tax credits under Section 45 or 48 of the Code as such credits are available arising from the Environmental Attributes of the system on each Site or the energy output or otherwise from the development, construction, installation or ownership of the System on each Site or the production, sale, purchase, consumption or use of the energy output from each Site.

  • Customer shall own, and may assign or sell in its sole and absolute discretion, all right, title and interest in all Environmental Attributes and/or Environmental Incentives associated with or resulting from the development and installation of the Generating Facility or the production, sale, purchase or use of the energy output of the Generating Facility including, without limitation, all Environmental Incentives and Environmental Attributes.

  • Without limiting the forgoing, Environmental Incentives includes the right to apply for (and entitlement to receive) incentives under any applicable state rebates or incentive programs and the right to claim federal income tax credits under Sections 45 or 48 of the Code.


More Definitions of Environmental Incentives

Environmental Incentives means all rights, credits (including tax credits), rebates, grants, benefits, reductions, offsets, and allowances and entitlements of any kind, howsoever entitled or named (including carbon credits and allowances), whether arising under federal, state or local law, international treaty, trade association membership or the like, arising from the development or installation of the ECMs and the reduction of energy usage at the Site. Without limiting the forgoing, "Environmental Incentives" includes utility rebates or incentive programs, green tags, renewable energy credits, tradable renewable certificates, portfolio energy credits, the right to apply for (and entitlement to receive) incentives under any state tax credit program, grants from nongovernmental organizations, and the right to claim federal income tax credits under Section 45 and/or 48 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Environmental Incentives means all rights, credits (including tax credits), rebates, benefits, reductions, offsets, and allowances and entitlements of any kind, howsoever titled or named (including carbon credits and allowances), whether arising under federal, State of Illinois, or local law, international treaty, trade association membership or the like arising from the Environmental Attributes of the PV Plant or the production, sale, purchase, consumption, or use of the electricity generated by the PV Plant, including any benefits associated with laws, regulations, or programs providing for the reporting of the environmental characteristics of the PV Plant. Without limiting the forgoing, “Environmental Incentives” includes green tags, renewable energy credits, tradable renewable certificates, portfolio energy credits, and the right to claim federal income tax credits the Internal Revenue Code, including without limitation Sections 45 and 48.
Environmental Incentives means any and all financial incentives, from whatever source, related to the construction, ownership, or operation of the System. Environmental Incentives include, but are not limited to, (i) federal, state, or local tax credits; (ii) any other financial incentives in the form of credits, reductions, or allowances that are applicable to a local, state, or federal income taxation obligation; and (iii) other grants, rebates, or subsidies, including utility incentive programs. Environmental Incentives do not include Environmental Attributes.
Environmental Incentives include, but are not limited to, (i) federal, state, or local tax credits associated with the construction, ownership, or production of electricity from the Solar Facility; (ii) any other financial incentives in the form of credits, reductions, or allowances associated with the Solar Facility that are applicable to a local, state, or federal income taxation obligation; and (iii) grants or subsidies for which the Solar Facility may be eligible. Environmental Incentives do not include Environmental Attributes or Green Tag Reporting Rights.

Environmental Incentives means all rights, credits (including tax credits), rebates, benefits, reductions, offsets, and allowances and entitlements of any kind, howsoever entitled or named (including carbon credits and allowances), whether arising under federal, state or local law, international treaty, trade association membership or the like, arising from the Environmental Attributes of the Generating Facility or the energy generated at the Generating Facility or otherwise from the development or installation of the Generating Facility or the production, sale, purchase, consumption or use of the energy generated at the Generating Facility. Without limiting the forgoing, “Environmental Incentives” includes green pricing programs, green tags, renewable energy credit trading programs, or proceeds received from the sale of environmental attributes (e.g., renewable energy or carbon credits), tradable renewable certificates, portfolio energy credits, the right to apply for (and entitlement to receive) incentives under any demand-side management or energy efficiency programs offered by a utility company, a third-party provider, or other incentive programs offered by the state and the right to claim federal income tax credits, if applicable.
