Eligible Issuer definition

Eligible Issuer means an issuer which meets the criteria and has complied with the requirements of NI 44-101 so as to be qualified to offer securities by way of a short form prospectus under Applicable Securities Laws;

Examples of Eligible Issuer in a sentence

  • The Manager shall not purchase any Eligible Debt if, after giving effect to such purchase, the limits on purchases with respect to any Eligible Issuer set forth in the Term Sheet would be exceeded.

Eligible Issuer means the state or any political subdivision of the state authorized to issue bonds, including any entity authorized to issue bonds on behalf of the state or the political subdivision, the interest from which is excludable from gross income under section 103 of the Internal Revenue Code.
