If your employment is transferred to an Employer from an affiliate (e.g., Aria Health or Abington Hospital), your prior service with the affiliate will be counted for purposes of determining whether you have an Eligibility Year, but you will not be eligible to participate in the Plan before the date of the transfer.
If you have prior service with Jefferson University Physicians, you will receive credit for any Eligibility Year completed with Jefferson University Physicians prior to the transfer of employment, and you will also receive credit for prior Hours of Service completed with Jefferson University Physicians as determined in accordance with the Plan’s administrative procedures.

B.5 Eligibility Year For purposes of determining eligibility for a leave, the College hereby adopts a rolling 12 month period whereby each time an employee takes family or medical leave, the remaining leave entitlement will be any balance of the 12 weeks which has not been used during the immediately preceding 12 months.
