Efficiency definition

Efficiency means the gas turbine manufacturer's rated heat rate at peak load in terms of heat input per unit of power output based on the lower heating value of the fuel.
Efficiency means the quotient of E/F, where E = the electricity produced by the Portfolio, measured in BTUs (British Thermal Units) at a conversion rate of 3,412 BTUs per kWh, and F = the fuel consumed by the Portfolio, measured in BTUs on a Lower Heating Value basis.
Efficiency means efficiency calculated on the basis of ‘net calorific values’ of fuels (also referred to as ‘lower calorific values’);

Examples of Efficiency in a sentence

  • In the event that at the end of any such Contract Year the Storage Efficiency is less than the applicable Guaranteed Storage Efficiency, Seller shall pay to Buyer the Storage Efficiency Liquidated Damages, as calculated pursuant to Schedule 6.4. Such Storage Efficiency Liquidated Damages shall be Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any failure of the Storage Facility to meet the Guaranteed Storage Efficiency.

  • The Parties agree that the damages Buyer would incur due to Seller’s failure to meet the Guaranteed Storage Efficiency would be difficult or impossible to predict with certainty and the Storage Efficiency Liquidated Damages amount is a reasonable approximation of such damages.

  • Custom Energy Efficiency Measures are site-specific measures that demonstrate demand reduction potential and/or savings of kW, kWh, and/or therms, adhere to cost-effectiveness thresholds, and are pre-approved by TRC.

  • KPIs • Connection setup time for P2P, P2MP and anycast connections • Efficiency of network resource utilization Impact Medium.

  • Commercial Energy Efficiency Program Co-funding for Energy Auditing or Engineering Services; Prescriptive and custom incentives for more sophisticated systems and controls up to $100,000, up to $150,000 for eligible CHP projects.
