Eastern Interconnection definition

Eastern Interconnection means the synchronized electric system in the eastern two thirds of the United States in which the SPP system operates.
Eastern Interconnection means the major electric system network in North America covering the east and central portions of the U.S. and Canada. The other interconnections in North America include the Western Interconnection, ERCOT, and Québec.
Eastern Interconnection means the area known as the Eastern Interconnected Grid currently consisting of the following National Electricity Reliability Council Regions: NEPOOL, NYPP, MAAC, SERC, FRCC, ECAR, MAIN, XXXX and SPP.
