Device Certificate definition

Device Certificate means a cryptographically encoded value which may be provided by DTLA or its designee which authorizes a device to exchange certain Commercial Entertainment Content.
Device Certificate means a Digital Certificate installed in a Device to authenticate the Device to the cable network.
Device Certificate has the meaning given to that expression in Annex A of the Device Certificate Policy.

Examples of Device Certificate in a sentence

  • At any time commencing forty-eight (48) months following the issuance to a Fellow Adopter of a Common Device Certificate, such Common Device Certificate may be Revoked without notice.

  • Adopter may seek Revocation by providing proof in a sworn affidavit (the “Adopter Affidavit”) of any of the facts relating to any particular Device Certificate and/or associated Device Keys issued to Adopter hereunder that would warrant Revocation of such certificate and satisfy one or more of the Revocation Criteria.

  • These are generated under the direction of DTLA and, except in the case that Adopter elects to use a Common Device Certificate and Common Device Key for certain devices as described in the Procedural Appendix and Compliance Rules, are generated uniquely per device.

  • Without limiting any other provision of this Agreement, Adopter may not use the same Device Key or Device Certificate in more than one individual unit or copy of any product or component except for the use of Common Device Keys and Common Device Certificates in accordance with Section 2.2 of the Procedural Appendix.

  • In the event that Revocation is requested, DTLA shall provide any Fellow Adopter to whom DTLA or its designee had issued a Device Certificate for which Revocation has been requested with notice of such requested Revocation, provided, however, that DTLA may, in its sole discretion, reduce such notice period where it deems circumstances warrant.

  • If Adopter notifies DTLA in writing that Adopter consents to such Revocation of any Device Certificate issued to it hereunder, or if DTLA is required to Revoke pursuant to Section 4.2.3 of the Agreement, DTLA may take steps to Revoke the applicable Device Certificate.

  • Examples of breach include, but are not limited to: Manufacturer’s Device Certificate private keys have been lost, stolen, intercepted or otherwise compromised in any way, a court or governmental agency orders CableLabs to revoke Manufacturer authorization, or a series of non-material breaches of this Agreement by Manufacturer.

  • Without limiting any other provision of this Agreement, Adopter may not use the same DTCP2 Device Key or DTCP2 Device Certificate in more than one individual unit or copy of any product or component except for the use of Common DTCP2 Device Keys and Common DTCP2 Device Certificates in accordance with Section 2.2 of the Procedural Appendix.

  • For so long as Content Participant is an Eligible AV Content Participant, it shall have the right to seek Revocation of a Device Certificate pursuant to the terms of Section 6.4.


More Definitions of Device Certificate

Device Certificate means a Digital Certificate issued to identify a Device.
Device Certificate has the meaning given to that expression in Annex A of the Device Certificate Policy. Device Certificate Policy means the SEC Subsidiary Document of that name set out in Appendix A. Device Certification Authority (or DCA) has the meaning given to that expression in Annex A of the Device Certificate Policy. Device Certification Practice Statement (or has the meaning given to that expression in Section Device CPS) L9.8 (the Device Certification Practice Statement). Device ID means the unique number by which an individual Device can be identified, as allocated to that Device in accordance with the applicable Technical Specification. Device Log means, in respect of a Device (excluding Type 2 Devices), the electronic record within that Device which records the other Devices from which that Device can receive Data via the HAN. Device Model means, in respect of a Communications Hub or a Device (other than a Communications Hub Function or a Gas Proxy Function), the Manufacturer, the model, the hardware version and the firmware version of the Communications Hub or Device.
Device Certificate means, with respect to DTCP1 implementations, a Device Certificate for DTCP1 and with respect to DTCP2 implementations, a Device Certificate for DTCP2, except that references to Device Certificate in Section 6.4(b) of the Content Participant Agreement shall be deemed to refer only to a Device Certificate for DTCP1.
Device Certificate means a digital certificate assigned to a Licensed Product and used for example to evaluate whether a Licensed Product is trusted and eligible to receive WMDRM Content.
Device Certificate means a Digital Certificate issued to identify a Device. “Distinguished Name” means the unique identifier for the Holder of a Digital Certificate.
Device Certificate means a Certificate issued by Company or contract manufacturer on Company’s behalf, assigned to each Licensed Product and used, for example, to evaluate whether the Licensed Product is trusted and eligible to receive WMDRM Content.

  • Compliance Certificate means a certificate substantially in the form of Exhibit D.

  • Tax Compliance Certificate as defined in Section 5.9.2(b)(iii).

  • Pricing Certificate means an Officer’s Certificate of Company certifying the Consolidated Leverage Ratio as at the last day of any Fiscal Quarter and setting forth the calculation of such Consolidated Leverage Ratio in reasonable detail.

  • Performance Certificate means the certificate issued under Sub-Clause 11.9 [Performance Certificate].

  • Closing Certificate means the closing certificate of the Company in the form of Exhibit B hereto.
