Derived Material definition

Derived Material. (also referred to herein as “Unmodified Derivatives”) shall mean substances created from or isolated from the biological samples transferred to Recipient from Provider, which constitute an unmodified functional subunit or product of the Original Material. Examples of Derived Material include, but are not limited to: stem cells, subclones of unmodified cell lines, purified or fractionated subsets of the biological samples of the Original Material, any and all genetically unmodified cells or cell lines or nucleic acids created from or isolated from the biological samples of the Original Material.
Derived Material means Modifications and any other substances created by NSWHP or a Transferee using the Material but which do not contain/incorporate the Material. Details means the section of this Agreement headed Details.
Derived Material means any material, genetic or otherwise, obtained from any Selected Strain and any derivatives or modifications made by or for Maxygen or any of its sublicensees from any Selected Strain or material obtained therefrom.
