Signs, lights, flags, and other warning and safety devices shall conform to the requirements set forth in Chapter 5 of the current traffic manual, Traffic Control for Construction and Maintenance Work Zones, published by the state of California Department of Transportation.

Where any information required of a contractor is in the exclusive possession of another who fails or refuses to furnish this information the Engineer shall so certify to the Recipient, or the Texas Department of Transportation as appropriate, and shall set forth what efforts it has made to obtain the information.
