Day Worked definition

Day Worked means a day during which a Sales Representative details or presents to Prescribers, or attends scheduled company training and/or specifically designated home study. A "Day Worked" by a District Manager shall mean a day during which the District Manager performs duties and responsibilities described in the Work Order. Days Worked shall not include days on leave, holidays, sick days or vacations.
Day Worked by a Field Coordinator shall mean a day during which the Field Coordinator performs duties and responsibilities described in the Work Order. Days Worked shall not include days on leave, holidays, sick days, vacations or any Saturday or Sunday, except for training or meeting days scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday. The average number of days worked in a twelve month period shall be two hundred thirty-two (232).
Day Worked the duration of the shift that an Employee works up to 24 hours, including split shifts. Dead Day: a day’s pay that does not accrue or use leave.

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.
