Course Pack definition

Course Pack means a compilation (whether bound or loose-leaf) of four or more Paper Copies and/or Scan Copies from one or more Licensed Materials for Photocopying and/or Licensed Materials for Scanning which is intended to provide students with a compilation of materials designed to support the teaching of a Course.
Course Pack means a compilation (whether bound or loose-leaf) of 4 or more photocopied extracts from one or more sources which is intended to provide students with a compilation of materials designed to support the teaching of a course.
Course Pack means a collection or compilation of materials (e.g., book chapters, journal articles) assembled by members of staff of an Authorized Site for use by students in a class for the purposes of instruction.

More Definitions of Course Pack

Course Pack means a compilation of photocopied extracts of Licensed Materials, designed in advance to be used in support of a Course of Study
Course Pack means a compilation of solely or substantially copies of Works of one or more examination subjects, including but not limited to a compilation of question papers for one or more examination subjects year by year or a compilation of parts of questions papers for one or more examination subjects categorised by topics.
Course Pack means any and all literature or information recorded in any form which is provided for Delegates, the cost of which is included in the fee and which is therefore the property of the Delegate. It may, however, contain copyright material which may only be used as described in clause 5 of these Terms and Conditions.
Course Pack means a compilation of materials (bound or otherwise assembled, either at once or gradually over time) that is designed for use by students of an Educational Institution to support a course or unit of study and is either intended, or may reasonably be expected, to be used instead of a Published Work that might otherwise have been purchased. A Course Pack may comprise a variety of types of material, published and unpublished, and may include original content. A compilation that includes Copies taken from fewer than four sources and totalling fewer than twenty (20) pages is not a Course Pack for the purposes of this Licence;
Course Pack means a compilation of extracts of Licensed Materials for Scanning in the form of Scan Copies, designed in advance to be used in support of a Course of Study.

  • Buyer in ordinary course of business means a person that buys goods in good faith, without knowledge that the sale violates the rights of another person in the goods, and in the ordinary course from a person, other than a pawnbroker, in the business of selling goods of that kind. A person buys goods in the ordinary course if the sale to the person comports with the usual or customary practices in the kind of business in which the seller is engaged or with the seller's own usual or customary practices. A person that sells oil, gas, or other minerals at the wellhead or minehead is a person in the business of selling goods of that kind. A buyer in ordinary course of business may buy for cash, by exchange of other property, or on secured or unsecured credit, and may acquire goods or documents of title under a preexisting contract for sale. Only a buyer that takes possession of the goods or has a right to recover the goods from the seller under article 2 may be a buyer in ordinary course of business. The term does not include a person that acquires goods in a transfer in bulk or as security for or in total or partial satisfaction of a money debt.

  • Ordinary Course Professional Order means the Order Authorizing the Retention and Compensation of Certain Professionals Utilized in the Ordinary Course of Business [D.I. 765].

  • Course Materials means lectures, exercises designed for online collaboration, multimedia developed for Web distribution, notes, outlines, syllabi, bibliographies, tests, instructional handouts, videotaped presentations and any like materials and documents (whether in electronic or other medium) that a member of the bargaining unit authors or creates in connection with the preparation or teaching of a course at a University.

  • course of study means any course of study, whether or not it is a sandwich course and whether or not a grant is made for attending or undertaking it;
