Commercial or Industrial Premises definition

Commercial or Industrial Premises means property upon which business activity is conducted, including but not limited to retail sales, services, wholesale operations, manufacturing and industrial operations, but excluding businesses conducted upon residential premises that are permitted under applicable zoning regulations and are not the primary use of the property.
Commercial or Industrial Premises means premises principally used or proposed to be used for the conduct of some profession, business, trade, industry, occupation, employment or undertaking and includes, for the purpose of this Bylaw, premises from which goods or services are provided and any building or premises which is not a dwelling unit as defined within the City of Airdrie Land Use Bylaw, or the premises connected therewith.

Examples of Commercial or Industrial Premises in a sentence

  • Contractor may require payment in advance for temporary Bin or temporary Roll-Off Box services provided at Residential, Commercial or Industrial Premises.

  • A Commercial or Industrial Premises shall be entitled to permits for up to a maximum of four (4) occasions per year, in which each occasion requires a separate permit.

  • Contractor is authorized to offer recycling services to all Commercial or Industrial Premises in the Service Area.

  • The Manager is authorized to take any and all other actions reasonable and necessary to enforce this chapter, including, but not limited to, inspecting any Commercial or Industrial Premises to verify compliance.

  • Prior to collecting materials from collection receptacles, containers, bins or roll-off bins at Commercial or Industrial Premises, Authorized Commercial Recyclers shall inspect the contents of any such container, and if it appears that the container contains 50% or less Recyclable Materials (or more than 50% Solid Waste), Authorized Commercial Recycler shall not collect the materials from that container.

  • Collection of Recyclable Materials from Commercial or Industrial Premises at a minimum of two (2) times per month, or more, as specified by contract or permit.

  • Such materials may include: • Electronics • Appliances • Green Waste • Wood • Polystyrene • Furniture • Clothing and textiles • Fluorescent lighting and fixtures • Audio and video items, including CDs, DVDs, video tapes, records, and their respective cases Contractor may offer to collect Green Waste from Commercial or Industrial Premises.

  • Upon the Effective Date of this Agreement and continuing for the Term of this Agreement or any extension or renewal thereof, District hereby grants Contractor the exclusive right and duty to collect, transfer, transport, recycle, compost, process and dispose of Solid Waste, Green Waste, Organic Materials, Construction and Demolition Waste including concrete wash-out waste and Recyclable Material generated or accumulated within District by any Residential, Commercial or Industrial Premises.

  • In addition to the requirements of section 3.0, the Applicant for a Mobile Sign permit shall submit to the City written authorization from the Owner of the Commercial or Industrial Premises to which the Mobile Sign relates.

  • Contractor may offer to collect Construction and Demolition Debris from all Commercial or Industrial Premises provided Contractor obtains a permit and operates in accordance with Ordinance No. 12-2 of the CCCSWA, as that ordinance may be amended from time to time.

  • Commercial Premises Means a place of trade or premises operated for financial gain, including but not limited to, a retirement village or a block of flats that has a common facility; a place of trade where the manufacture and production of products or produce takes place; a site where renovation, restoration and refurbishment work as described in Appendix B takes place.

  • Improvement district means a local district that operates under and is subject to the provisions of this chapter and Chapter 2a, Part 4, Improvement District Act, including an entity that was created and operated as a county improvement district under the law in effect before April 30, 2007.

  • Industrial building means a building used for or in connection with,

  • Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;

  • Residential rental property means property that is used solely as leased or rented property for residential purposes. If the property is a space rental mobile home park, residential rental property includes the rental space that is leased or rented by the owner of that rental space but does not include the mobile home or recreational vehicle that serves as the actual dwelling if the dwelling is owned and occupied by the tenant of the rental space and not by the owner of the rental space.

  • industrial effluent means any liquid, whether or not containing matter in solution or suspension, which is emitted in the course of or as a result of any trade or industrial operation, including a mining operation, and includes any liquid besides soil water or waste water or stormwater;

  • Redevelopment Area means the community redevelopment area described, defined or otherwise identified or referred to in the Redevelopment Plan.

  • Residential Rental Unit means an area legally licensed or permitted for use as a living space containing a sleeping area, bathing and sanitation facilities and cooking facilities equipped with a cooking range, refrigerator and sink, all of which are separate and distinct from other Residential Rental Units.   • Rural area means any county with a population of fewer than twenty thousand individuals. "Small business concern," as used in this clause, means a concern, including its affiliates, that is
