Captive User(s definition

Captive User(s means the end user of the electricity generated in a Captive Generating Plant and the term “Captive Use” shall be construed accordingly;
Captive User(s having supply agreement with ESCOM, shall, in addition to applicable demand charges, pay to the ESCOM [where such consumer is situated] as per the applicable tariff for the quantum of energy drawn from the grid in excess of the energy contracted for wheeling from the Company,
Captive User(s shall have the meaning assigned to the user mentioned under clause 1.2 of this agreement.

Examples of Captive User(s in a sentence

  • It shall be the obligation of the captive users to ensure that the consumption by the Captive Users at the percentages mentioned in sub-clauses (a) and (b) of sub-rule (1) above is maintained and in case the minimum percentage of captive use is not complied with in any year, the entire electricity generated shall be treated as if it is a supply of electricity by a generating company.

  • It shall be the obligation of the Captive Users to ensure the captive consumption at the percentages mentioned in the Electricity Rules, 2005 and subsequent amendments thereto.

  • In case of any difficulty in giving effect to any of the provisions of this Regulation, the Commission may by general or special order, issue appropriate directions to Generators, Transmission Licensee(s), Distribution Licensee(s), Captive User(s), Open access consumers(s) etc., to take suitable action, not being inconsistent with the provisions of the Act, which appear to the Commission to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty.

  • The Generators, Licensees, Captive User(s), Open access consumer(s) may make an application to the Commission and seek suitable orders to remove any difficulties that may arise in implementation of these Regulations.

  • I/We declare and confirm that Captive User(s) is / are having % ownership in the CGP and qualify to wheel under captive category.

  • In other words, if a group of EHT/HT consumer acquires the right in an already set up Power Plant (which has not been established as a captive unit), it cannot claim the status of ‘Group Captive Power Plant Owners/Group Captive Users.

  • The CA Certificate should contain details of all shareholders, including Captive Users and their Voting Rights.

  • Thus, the Commission in its letter mentioned above, had intended that unless a Power Plant is set up by Group Captive Users themselves, primarily for their own use, they cannot claim the status of ‘Group Captive Generators/Group Captive Users’.

  • Thus the essential condition being supply of electricity from a person to a consumer which is sale of electricity, is absent in the case of Group Captive Users, therefore, the imposition of additional surcharge is unjustified.

  • If the Captive User(s) and Open Access consumer(s) are unable to fulfill their obligation, they shall be liable to be proceeded against as per Regulation 6 of the PSERC RPO Regulations besides cancellation of NOC by PSPCL.

Related to Captive User(s

  • Captive User means the end user of the electricity generated in a Captive Generating Plant and the term “Captive Use” shall be construed accordingly;

  • Active User means PSC employees, and any users actively participating on the system in any given month of operation, who shall be bound to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Licensor does not impose a limit on the number of Active Users accessing or registering to use the system.

  • Network User means each natural or legal person having concluded a Standard Transmission Agreement with the TSO for Transmission Services in the Transmission Grid.

  • Consumptive use with respect to heating oil means consumed on the premises.

  • Mobile means any mobile delivery technology including 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 5G cellular technology, and any subsequent generation technology, edge, DVBH or DMB which is or may be used with radio frequency spectrum in any band, to enable or facilitate transmission of textual material, data, voice, video and/or multimedia service to any device (whether now known or hereafter developed) which is capable of receiving and/or sending voice and/or data and/or video communications by means of a device which is designed primarily as a portable device.

  • Administrative User means any of Your employees, consultants, independent contractors or customers to whom You grant administrative permission to access the Services in accordance with Company’s entitlements and procedures and this Agreement (where “administrative permission” includes, but is not limited to, the right to create, modify and delete User accounts, as well as the right to access and modify Your billing information and other functionality available through Company’s administrative control panel).

  • Exclusive Use Area means a part or parts of the common property for the exclusive use by the owner or owners of one or more sections;

  • Help Desk means the contact point established by Project Co in respect of the Help Desk Services for the notification of Demand Requisitions, the occurrence of Events and other matters arising in relation to the provision of Services;

  • Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.

  • Unique User ID means a string of characters that identifies a specific user and which, in conjunction with a password, passphrase or other mechanism, authenticates a user to an information system.
