Breaks in Continuous Service. An Employee’s continuous service record shall be broken by voluntary resignation, discharge for just cause, retirement, failure to return from a leave of absence, and being absent for three (3) consecutive scheduled work days without proper notification and authorization. However, if an employee returns to work in any capacity for the Employer within three (3) months, the break in continuous service shall be removed from his/her record.
