Bandwidth definition

Bandwidth means a distributor’s defined tolerance used to flag data for further scrutiny at the stage in the VEE process where a current reading is compared to a reading from an equivalent historical billing period. For example, a 30 percent bandwidth means a current reading that is either 30 percent lower or 30 percent higher than the measurement from an equivalent historical billing period will be identified by the VEE process as requiring further scrutiny and verification;
Bandwidth means data transfer rate.
Bandwidth means the rate, in bits per second, which data packets can be transferred over the Service. This is always quoted in bits per second (bps), never Bytes per second (Bps) and does not factor in packet overheads;

Examples of Bandwidth in a sentence

  • Parental Control – details options for user to define allowed content Overlay App Messaging: Low Bandwidth Buffering Resume playback option Global Localization – all hard coded elements will be localized to English, Spanish and Portuguese Localized metadata will come from the API once the application hits the global API and is directed to the regionally specific set of API’s as dictated by the end users location (IP based).
