Examples of Anticipated Commencement Date in a sentence
If for any reason possession of the Expansion Premises is not delivered within one hundred eighty (180) days of the Anticipated Commencement Date, Tenant may elect not to lease the Expansion Premises by written notice to Landlord given after such one hundred eighty (180) day period but prior to delivery of possession; provided, Tenant’s right of termination shall not arise until such one hundred eighty (180) day period expires.
If, because of Tenant Delay (as defined below), Tenant delays the Commencement Date to a date which is after the Anticipated Commencement Date, (a) the Commencement Date shall be the date the Commencement Date would have occurred had Tenant not caused such delays and (b) the Anticipated Commencement Date and any other time period in which Landlord is obligated to perform various actions hereunder shall be extended by the number of days as such performance or other day is delayed due to any Tenant Delay.

In the event that the Commencement Date is a date which is other than the Anticipated Commencement Date, within a reasonable period of time after the date Tenant takes possession of the Premises Landlord shall deliver to Tenant a Commencement Date Memorandum in the form attached hereto as Exhibit F, setting forth the Commencement Date and the Expiration Date, and Tenant shall execute and return such Commencement Date Memorandum to Landlord within five (5) business days after Tenant’s receipt thereof.
Despite the stated Anticipated Commencement Date, Landlord shall not be liable to Tenant and this Lease and Tenant’s obligations under this Lease shall be unaffected if for any reason Landlord does not deliver possession of the Expansion Premises to Tenant on the Anticipated Commencement Date.
