Work Schedule and Calendar. The Appointing Authority shall post a written work schedule reflecting the normal hours of work and days of work in each institution after consultation with Association representatives and consideration of their desires. Proposed changes in the established schedule of work hours or days shall first be discussed with Association representatives. Any changes in work schedules or calendar shall be preceded by a fourteen (14) calendar day written notice to the affected employees. In emergency situations, as determined by the Appointing Authority, the Appointing Authority shall comply with the provisions of this Section insofar as reasonably possible. Upon mutual agreement between the Association and the Appointing Authority, the provisions of this Section may be waived to accommodate the placement of employees returning to work from a workers' compensation disability leave.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday. All other overtime Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x).
