PATRONS AND HONORARY OFFICERS 124. The Governors may from time to time appoint any person whether or not a Member of the Academy Trust to be a patron of the Academy Trust or to hold any honorary office and may determine for what period he is to hold such office. THE SEAL 125. The seal, if any, shall only be used by the authority of the Governors or of a committee of Governors authorised by the Governors. The Governors may determine who shall sign any instrument to which the seal is affixed and unless otherwise so determined it shall be signed by a Governor and by the Secretary or by a second Governor. ACCOUNTS 126. Accounts shall be prepared in accordance with the relevant Statement of Recommended Practice as if the Academy Trust was a non-exempt charity and Parts 15 and 16 of the Companies Act 2006 and shall file these with the Secretary of State and the Principal Regulator by 31 December each Academy Financial Year. POSSESSION OF THE PLOT 7.1 Schedule for possession of the said Plot - The Promoter agrees and understands that timely delivery of possession of the Plot to the allottee’s and the common areas to the association of allottee’s or the competent authority, as the case may be, is the essence of the Agreement. The Promoter assures to hand over possession of the Plot along with ready and complete common areas with all specifications, amenities and facilities of the project in place on (Date) unless there is delay or failure due to war, flood, drought, fire, cyclone, earthquake or any other calamity caused by nature affecting the regular development of the real estate project (“Force Majeure”). If, however, the completion of the Project is delayed due to the Force Majeure conditions then the Allottee’s agrees that the Promoter shall be entitled to the extension of time for delivery of possession of the Plot, provided that such Force Majeure conditions are not of a nature, which make it impossible for the contract to be implemented. The Allottee’s agrees and confirms that, in the event it becomes impossible for the Promoter to implement the project due to Force Majeure conditions, then this allotment shall stand terminated and the Promoter shall refund to the Allottee’s the entire amount received by the Promoter from the allotment within 45 days from that date. The promoter shall intimate the allottee’s about such termination at least thirty days prior to such termination. After refund of the money paid by the Allottee’s, the Allottee’s agrees that he/ she shall not have any rights, claims etc. against the Promoter and that the Promoter shall be released and discharged from all its obligations and liabilities under this Agreement.
NO VACANT POSSESSION 14.1 The Purchaser shall upon full payment of the Balance Purchase Price together with all interest on late payment (if any) be entitled at his own costs and expenses to take possessions of the Property.
Honorarium An ASF Member who performs an assigned special project for the university and/or Minnesota State may be awarded an honorarium at the President's or Chancellor's discretion. For purposes of this provision, the special project must normally be outside the scope of the ASF Member's responsibilities. Additionally, at the President’s discretion, an ASF Member who, after the effective date of this agreement and while employed in a position covered by this agreement, obtains a terminal degree from an accredited institution in an academic field related to the ASF Member’s position may be awarded an honorarium. Total honoraria for any individual ASF Member shall not exceed four thousand dollars ($4,000) per fiscal year.
POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY The Parties hereby agree that the exclusive possession of the Property shall be delivered by the Seller to the Buyer on .
Personal Illness Employees may use accumulated sick leave for hours off due to personal illness. The employee may be required to furnish a medical certificate from a qualified physician as evidence of illness or physical disability in order to qualify for paid sick leave as per District practice. Accumulated sick leave may also be granted for such time as is actually necessary for office visits to a doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc.
Furniture Sub-Sublandlord represents and warrants that all furniture and equipment listed and described in Schedule “B” attached hereto is within the Sub-Subleased Premises (such equipment and furniture is hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Existing Furniture”). The Sub-Sublandlord warrants that the Existing Furniture is free of any financial lien or hypothec and that there are no service contracts affecting the Existing Furniture. The parties acknowledge and agree that, upon the execution and delivery of this Sub-Sublease, without the requirement of any additional consideration, all rights, title and ownership in and to the Existing Furniture shall be conveyed to and vest in Sub-Subtenant and Sub-Subtenant shall be free to maintain and/or dispose the Existing Furniture as Sub-Subtenant so elects in its sole discretion but subject to the terms hereof. The foregoing conveyance with respect to the Existing Furniture shall be self-executing and no additional documentation shall be required in order to evidence the aforementioned assignment and conveyance of the Existing Furniture to Sub-Subtenant. Sub-Sublandlord makes no representation or warranty as to the condition, fitness or suitability of such Existing Furniture for Sub-Subtenant’s purposes. Sub-Subtenant may, as it deems appropriate or necessary, reconfigure the Existing Furniture to combine with any of Sub-Subtenant’s furniture and equipment. Sub-Sublandlord shall have no obligation for the maintenance, repair or replacement of any such Existing Furniture.
Personal Appearance All teachers shall maintain dress, grooming and personal appearance consistent with their area of teaching.
Personal medical leave, serious health condition leave, or serious injury or illness leave covered by family medical leave may be taken intermittently when certified as medically necessary. Employees must make reasonable efforts to schedule leave for planned medical treatment so as not to unduly disrupt the Employer’s operations. Leave due to qualifying exigencies may also be taken on an intermittent basis.
Personal Belongings Tenant agrees not to leave any personal belongings (including lawn furniture) in the parking areas, common halls, sidewalks, lawn areas or other common areas of the apartment community.
