Use of Planning Time. Use of planning time will be compensated pro-rated at the 8 regular rate calculated to the minute based on the length of the period covered.

Use of Planning Time. The planning time provided by this Section shall be utilized, as determined by the employee, for such purposes as collaborative and individual lesson planning, preparation of materials, individual conferencing with parents, students, and District personnel, correcting and evaluating student work, infrequently called faculty meetings, and non-regularly scheduled duties as are determined necessary and infrequently requested by the administration.
Use of Planning Time. Use of planning time shall be at the professional discretion of the teacher. Planning time is provided so that teachers are prepared for their students and is scheduled to occur on campus to facilitate the development of daily lesson plans, minimize interruptions, provide access to resources, and encourage grade level/department planning with colleagues. However, planning off campus is appropriate and may occur when necessary. When planning off campus during the work day occurs, the principal or principal’s designee shall be notified. Teachers are expected to be prepared to meet the Utah Effective Teaching Standards. Any building uses of the planning time other than for planning shall be decided by the School Improvement Council and approved by the faculty through consensus or by ratification when consensus cannot be reached.
Use of Planning Time. The primary use of preparation time shall be for instructional planning and preparation or to meet evaluation goals and/or school improvement plan goals. Objectives for utilization of planning time, including team planning, will be a focus of each employee's Fall goal setting conference at the beginning of the school year.
Use of Planning Time. Since planning time falls during the regular, contracted workday, the appropriate use of this time shall be subject to monitoring by the supervisor. For the purpose of safety and risk management, staff wishing to leave campus during their preparation time shall seek approval from their supervisor.

  • Planning Time A. Uninterrupted planning time sixty (60) consecutive minutes shall be provided daily within the normal work day for full-time teachers at elementary sites. Planning period adjustments may be made with the approval of the teacher if the adjustment does not decrease the number of minutes allocated for planning time.

  • Elementary Planning Time [a] All elementary schools will allow for teacher planning and collaboration time one (1) day each week, as approved by the Board, by shortening that day and proportionately lengthening the remaining days in the week. In the event that the early-out day falls on a holiday, no early-out planning time will be provided for that week. [b] The planning time is to be used for individual or group planning activities. Exceptions such as faculty meetings, training or other routine school activities shall be agreed upon by the JSSC. [c] The total time for students to be in the class shall meet the state requirements and the total teacher time shall meet contract obligations.

  • Training Time When an employee is ordered by the County to attend training, the time spent in training shall be counted as hours worked. Training which takes place during off-duty hours with attendance voluntary is not hours worked.

  • RELEASE OF GENERAL INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC AND MEDIA NASA or Partner may, consistent with Federal law and this Agreement, release general information regarding its own participation in this Agreement as desired. Pursuant to Section 841(d) of the NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017, Public Law 115-10 (the "NTAA"), NASA is obligated to publicly disclose copies of all agreements conducted pursuant to NASA's 51 U.S.C. §20113(e) authority in a searchable format on the NASA website within 60 days after the agreement is signed by the Parties. The Parties acknowledge that a copy of this Agreement will be disclosed, without redactions, in accordance with the NTAA.

  • General Description of Services The A-E will be contacted by COUNTY Project Management staff on an “as-needed” basis as projects arise to provide A-E for professional services. Requirements will be discussed by both Parties and A-E shall prepare a written Scope Statement that will include the specific work to be performed, including the costs and time required to complete the project/task. Orange COUNTY Project Management staff will then review the A-E’s Scope Statement, proceed with negotiation of task costs and when satisfied, issue a Contract Task Order (CTO) against this CONTRACT. The A-E shall serve as lead of a design team that may include other construction design professionals working together to ensure that the original design is carried through to the finished product, with no alterations in materials or design that would lead to safety issues or compromise the quality of the building or building component. Other team members who may be retained by the lead to support a project as a consultant may include but are not limited to landscape architects, lighting designers, data consultants, security consultants, controls engineers, commissioning consultants, traffic engineers, surveyors, estimators, special inspection, etc. The A-E shall be responsible for the preparation of comprehensive building assessments, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and reports within the scope of the Contract Task Order (CTO). In the preparation of construction drawings and specification, the A-E shall also responsible for:

  • Use of Private Vehicles Whenever practicable, State-owned or contracted vehicles shall be made available to ASF Members required to travel on behalf of the Employer. The Employer may elect to allow ASF Members to utilize personal vehicles on a case-by-case basis and reimburse the mileage resulting at the rates provided under the travel regulations. Except for emergency circumstances, or when defined by the Employer as a condition of employment, an ASF Member shall not be required to use a personal vehicle for university purposes.

  • Provisions for Covered Entity to Inform Business Associate of Privacy Practices and Restrictions (a) Covered Entity shall notify Business Associate of any limitation(s) in the notice of privacy practices of Covered Entity under 45 CFR 164.520, to the extent that such limitation may affect Business Associate’s use or disclosure of protected health information.

  • Use of Training Units and Consulting Units Training Units and Consulting Units: (a) are non-refundable, (b) are non-transferable, (c) may not be redeemed for cash or credit, (d) must be used as whole credits, (e) cannot be combined with any other discount, special offer or coupon and (f) can be redeemed only in the same geographic region and currency as purchased. United States Government end users (or resellers acting on behalf of the United States Government) may not purchase Training Units or Consulting Units.
