The Planning Council. Before an EMA/TGA can receive RWHAP Part A funds, the CEO must appoint a planning council. The planning council must carry out many complex planning tasks to assess the service needs of people living with HIV living in the area, and specify the kinds and amounts of services required to meet those needs. The planning council is assisted in fulfilling these complex tasks by planning council support (PCS) staff whose salaries are paid by the grant. The RWHAP legislation requires planning councils to have members from various types of groups and organizations, including people living with HIV who live in the EMA/TGA. A key function of the plan- ning council is to provide the consumer and community voice in decision-making about medical and support services to be funded with the EMA/TGA’s RWHAP Part A dollars. TGAs do not have to follow the legislative requirements related to planning councils, but must provide a process for obtaining consumer and community input. TGAs that have currently operating planning councils are strongly encouraged by the HIV/AIDS Bureau to maintain that structure.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Selection Planning Prior to the issuance to consultants of any requests for proposals, the proposed plan for the selection of consultants under the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines. Selection of all consultants’ services shall be undertaken in accordance with such selection plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Strategic Planning Facilitate the effective alignment of IT requirements/ Information Resource Management (IRM) plans with strategic business plans and program initiatives. Management Improvements: Development and implementation of improved systems and business practices to optimize productivity and service delivery operations (e.g., analysis, and implementation of improvements in the flow of IT work and program processes and tool utilization, including business system analysis, identification of requirements for streamlining, re-engineering, or re-structuring internal systems/business processes for improvement, determination of IT solution alternatives, benchmarking).

  • Elementary Planning Time [a] All elementary schools will allow for teacher planning and collaboration time one (1) day each week, as approved by the Board, by shortening that day and proportionately lengthening the remaining days in the week. In the event that the early-out day falls on a holiday, no early-out planning time will be provided for that week. [b] The planning time is to be used for individual or group planning activities. Exceptions such as faculty meetings, training or other routine school activities shall be agreed upon by the JSSC. [c] The total time for students to be in the class shall meet the state requirements and the total teacher time shall meet contract obligations.

  • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. Additional representatives may be invited as resources to the committee as needed. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016. Terms of reference will be jointly developed to inform the scope of discussions and recommendations.
