Ten Hour Workday. When on a ten (10) hour workday, as a normal scheduled work shift, an employee shall earn eight (8) hours of holiday pay. The other two (2) hours not worked on the holiday shall be taken as paid leave, compensatory time (if available), or leave without pay, as determined by the employee.

Ten Hour Workday. The District may establish a ten (10) hour per day, forty (40) hour, four (4) consecutive day workweek for all, or certain classifications of its employees, or for employees within a classification when, by reason of the work location and duties actually performed by such employees, their services are not required for a workweek of five (5) consecutive days, provided the establishment of such a workweek has been agreed to with CSEA.

  • Workday/Workweek A. The normal workweek for each full-time employee shall be forty (40) hours.

  • Workday and Workweek The District and the Association recognize the principle of an eight (8) hour unit member workday, and a forty (40) hour workweek for persons employed on a full-time basis during the regular school year.

  • Twelve Hour Shifts Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Workday The length of the workday shall be designated by the District for each classified assignment in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Agreement. Each bargaining unit employee shall be assigned a fixed, regular, and ascertainable minimum number of hours.

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Workdays 1. All workdays when the central and administrative offices are open shall be duty days for unit members employed on a 12-month basis.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
