SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. An employee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the Assistant Manager, Grocery Depart ment Manager/Head or Produce Department Manager/ Head for more than two (2) consecutive work days at any one time shall be paid for the entire period of such relief at the base weekly wage rate and hours o f the person for whom the employee is substituting. However, an employ ee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the Assistant Manager, Grocery Department Manager/ Head or Produce Department Manager/Head in a store other than the employee’s regularly assigned store shall be paid at the base weekly wage rate and hours of the per son for whom the employee is substituting, commencing with the first (1st) day of such period of relief.

An employee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the General Xxxx xxx, Assistant Manager, Grocery Department Manager/Head or Produce Department Mana- ger/Head for more than two (2) consecutive work days at any one time shall be paid for the entire period of such relief at the base weekly wage rate and hours of the person for whom the employee is substituting. However, an employee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the General Manager, Assistant Manager, Grocery Department Manager/Head in a store other than the employee’s regularly assigned store shall be paid at the base weekly wage rate and hours of the person for whom the employee is substituting, commencing with the first (1st) day of such period of relief.
SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. A Party shall have the right to designate a Substitute Manager (“Substitute Manager”) in the event that a Manager previously designated by such Party shall resign, retire, die, or otherwise be unable or unavailable to serve.
