Special Escorted Leave and/or Escorted Day Absence. 5.27.1 The Service Provider shall escort from the holding prison any Prisoner who has been granted leave under Prison Rules 91 or 92, uplift the Prisoner(s), undertake the escort to the specified location, remain with the Prisoner throughout, maintain the appropriate duty of care and security, and return the Prisoner to prison at the end of the visit. The Service Provider shall carry out a security risk assessment and determine the appropriate staffing in each case for such escorts.   • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Qualifying Exigency Leave In the event that a member of the employee’s immediate household is called to covered active duty, such as a short notice deployment (i.e., deployment within seven or less days of notice), the employee will be granted time off to address necessary family matters in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

  • Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave An Employee who is expecting the birth or adoption of a child shall be entitled to maternity/paternity/adoption leave without pay, provided she presents a medical certificate confirming the probable date of confinement, or in the case of adoption, gives the Employer notice of eligibility. Except in extenuating circumstances, the notice shall be submitted in writing at least twenty-eight (28) days in advance of the leave and shall specify the probable date of commencement and the anticipated length of leave. The following conditions shall apply:

  • Recall from Vacation Leave Where, during any period of vacation leave, an employee is recalled to duty, such employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that such employee incurs:

  • Maternity/Parental/Adoption Leave Maternity/Parental/Adoption leave shall be granted as a right as per the Employment Standards Act.

  • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency.
