Section 7.16.1. 22 All employees working more than eight (8) hours per day or more than forty (40) hours per 23 week shall be compensated at the overtime rate of pay. Provided that on any bus trip in excess 24 of four (4) hours per day the employee shall be provided a non-paid lunch period of not less 25 than thirty (30) minutes, whenever possible. 27 Comp time will be available pursuant to District Policy 5231. Records of all overtime and 28 comp time will be kept on the regular district timesheets.

  • Section 7.2 25 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be 26 changed without prior notice to the employee of two (2) calendar weeks, except in emergencies.

  • Section 6.3 7 Visitation rights shall be granted to the designated representative of the Public School Employees of 8 Washington to visit with employees in the appropriate bargaining units for purposes of grievance 9 procedures and/or general information data.   • Section 7.5 14 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 15 agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a 16 lunch period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 17 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime rates.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.
