Section 14.6.1. 31 Pursuant to HB 1575, PSE is the exclusive custodian of membership records. If there are any 32 errors in the dues collection because of information provided or not provided by PSE, PSE is 33 entirely liable.

Section 14.6.1. 26 The District will notify the PSE State office membership department of any changes in 27 membership within 10 workdays of that change, including those who are hired, rehired, 28 reinstated, transferred into or out of the bargaining unit, reclassified, promoted, placed on 29 leaves of absence of any type including disability, or changes from their current job 30 classification.
Section 14.6.1. 43 The Association agrees to reimburse any employee from whose pay dues were deducted in 44 excess of the total amount due to the Association, at that time, provided the Association or its 45 affiliate actually received the excessive amount.

  • Section 14.3 24 The parties recognize that an employee should have the option of declining to participate as a member in 25 the Association, yet contribute financially to the activities of the Association in representing such 26 employee as a member of the collective bargaining unit. Therefore, as an alternative to, and in lieu of the 27 membership requirements of the previous sections of this Article, an employee who declines membership 28 in the Association may pay to the Association each month a service charge as a contribution towards the 29 administration of this Agreement in an amount not to exceed the regular monthly dues. This service 30 charge shall be collected by the Association in the same manner as monthly dues.
