Responsible Adult. The person who enters into this Contract with Us on behalf of his or her Child or Children.
Responsible Adult. In addition to the terms of clause 6.17, the School requires Parents to nominate a responsible adult for the School to contact when Parents are absent or otherwise cannot be contacted. The Parents must update the School as soon as they are able should they change who the nominated responsible adult is. The School will only contact the nominated responsible adult for the purposes of accounting for the whereabouts of the Student. For the avoidance of doubt, the nominated responsible adult shall have no ability to make any decisions, whatsoever, in respect of the Student.

The Responsible Adult shall also pay to Carrier the prevailing costs and fees imposed by Carrier relating to the Responsible Adult’s failure to adequately supervise, control or care for the Guest over whom the Responsible Adult is responsible. Further, the Responsible Adult and the Guest over whom the Responsible Adult is responsible shall jointly and severally defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Carrier from and against any liability (including reasonable legal fees) Carrier may incur to any person or entity (private or governmental) for any death, injury, damage, fine or penalty arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by reason of any act or omission of the Guest over whom the Responsible Adult is responsible.
Responsible Adult. If Recipient is not at least age eighteen (18) years old, then this Contract shall be signed by both the Recipient and the Responsible Adult of the Recipient, who shall be the Recipient’s parent, legal guardian or person standing in loco parentis for the Recipient. The Responsible Adult shall be bound by the provisions of this Contract and upon signing this Contract shall be deemed to have waived on his own behalf and Recipient’s behalf objections to personal jurisdiction in the courts of North Carolina, objection to or legal claim for the release of educational or other records regarding the Recipient based upon any statute, rule, regulation or other law prohibiting, limiting or otherwise regulating the privacy of such records and any other right or privilege which Recipient would be deemed to have waived if Recipient were at least age eighteen (18) years old. The Responsible Adult shall be subject to legal action as provided in this Contract.
Responsible Adult. You must ensure that an adult with responsibility for the care of the student is present for the entirety of every lesson, in the premises that the lesson is taking place. We will not provide any form of care and it remains your responsibility to safeguard throughout. Responsible Adult. 9. The person named in item 8 of the Schedule as your “Responsible Adult” shall be present at the event throughout the whole of the Licence Period and (if other than the Licensee) shall be jointly and severally responsible with you for supervising the event and ensuring the good behaviour of all persons entering the School premises with your permission both during the Licence Period and at any other times prior to the departure of such persons and also for ensuring the due compliance by you with all the terms and conditions of this Licence Agreement. The Licensee and the Responsible Adult may be one and the same person.

It is a condition of your child’s joining and remaining at the Nursery that you complete and submit to the Nursery a parental absence form for your child.   • SELLER RESPONSIBLE FOR TAXES AND RECORDS Seller shall be liable for any applicable income taxes, levies, duties, costs, charges, withholdings, deductions or any charges of equivalent effect imposed on, or in respect of the Goods or Services provided by Seller to Apple under this Agreement. Where applicable, Seller will charge Apple sales tax, excise tax, use tax, value added tax ("VAT"), goods and services tax ("GST"), consumption tax, or equivalent type charges (hereinafter "Transaction Taxes") that are owed by Apple solely as a result of the Goods or Services provided by Seller to Apple under this Agreement and which are required or permitted to be collected from Apple by Seller under applicable law. If Apple provides Seller with a valid exemption certificate, Seller shall not collect the Transaction Taxes covered by such certificate. All charges will be supported by valid tax invoices provided by Seller to Apple consistent with the relevant jurisdiction. Where any relevant taxation authority imposes any income tax on the payment for Goods or Services by Apple to Seller and requires Apple to withhold such tax ("Withholding Tax"), Apple may deduct such Withholding Tax from the payment to Seller and remit such Withholding Tax to the relevant taxing authority on behalf of Seller. The determination of the applicability of a Withholding Tax is at Apple’s sole discretion. In the event a reduced Withholding Tax rate may apply on payments to Seller, Seller shall furnish to Apple as soon as practicable all documentation necessary to evidence the qualifications for the reduced rate of Withholding Tax. If the necessary documentation is not provided in a timely fashion before payment, the reduced Withholding Tax rate will not apply and any payments to Seller shall be subject to the full rate of Withholding Tax. Upon reasonable request by Seller, Apple shall furnish Seller with tax receipts or other documentation evidencing the payment of such Withholding Tax when available. Seller shall be solely responsible for filing the appropriate tax forms and paying all taxes or fees, including estimated taxes and employment taxes, due with respect to Seller's receipt of payment under this Agreement. Upon request, Seller shall provide Apple with any other necessary tax documentation. Where applicable, a non-U.S. Seller shall note, on each invoice issued to Apple under this Agreement, the amount of Services performed, or Goods provided by Seller within the United States, if any. Seller further agrees to provide Apple with reasonable assistance in the event of a government audit.
