Regular Working Day. Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, or as set forth in resolutions creating specific positions, a minimum of eight (8) hours of actual attendance on duty shall constitute a day's work and a minimum of forty (40) hours shall constitute a week's work for every full-time employee. Any employee who works fewer than these required hours per week shall be paid on a part-time basis, account being taken, however, of duly authorized absences with pay.

Regular Working Day. Standby on Overtime When an operator is working overtime on an AM standby, work will be placed on the sheet as is and the operator may split the work at the natural break or at a relief point provided it leaves a minimum of 2 hours. When an operator is working overtime on an AM standby and there are operators reporting at the 09:00 sign up that can do work at straight time, the Depot will split the work.

A “regular” working week is thirty-five (35) hours in length.   • Regular Work Day Unless agreed upon by the City and the Association as set forth below under the heading “Alternate Work Schedule”, a regular workday is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours of work completed within not more than twenty-four

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Regular Overtime Any overtime work scheduled in advance of the administrative workweek as part of an employee's regularly scheduled workweek is considered regular overtime. An employee shall be compensated for every minute of regular overtime work in accordance with 5 CFR 550.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
