Recognitions and Criteria. As an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited program preparing students for the associate degree in nursing, the Department of Nursing at KCC is recognized as meeting national standards related to knowledge and skill needed for nursing practice. This status shall permit KCC’s ADN graduates who meet the following criteria to have up to 32 semester hours of nursing knowledge validated and recorded as listed in this document. This recording of credits will occur in conjunction with completion of NURS 301, Using Evidence for Professional Nursing Practice, and will be based upon a record review which is to include documentation of the following:

Adherence to these accessible technology standards is one way to ensure compliance with the College’s underlying legal obligations to ensure that people with disabilities are able to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same benefits and services within the same timeframe as their nondisabled peers, with substantially equivalent ease of use; that they are not excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination in any College programs, services, and activities delivered online, as required by Section 504 and the ADA and their implementing regulations; and that they receive effective communication of the College’s programs, services, and activities delivered online.

  • Implementation of Strategic Plan Goals This Agreement supports the County’s Strategic Plan, Goal 1, Operational Effectiveness/Fiscal Sustainability. This Agreement will provide revenue reimbursement to the Department for services rendered.
