Recognition of Union Representatives. The Administration shall recognize the Grievance Chairperson or his designee as the Union representative for grievances. The Union will advise the Executive Director of Human Resources of the name of the Grievance Chairperson and any changes.
Recognition of Union Representatives. The Employer will recognize individuals and/or employees elected, appointed or designated by the Union as a representative. Recognition of Union Representatives. The Union has a right to designate officials who are entitled to perform representational duties in accordance with this Agreement and the Statute, and that employees are entitled to file a complaint or act as a witness under this Agreement, the Act, or applicable regulations. The Union will designate an appropriate number of union representatives. The Union will furnish the Agency with a listing of the names and titles of all designated representatives within 30 days of the effective date of this Agreement and, thereafter, within 14 workdays of any change to the list of designated representatives.

The request for leave must be made as far in advance as is practical. The absence will be granted, including reasonable time for travel, subject to work requirements. Permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
